Al-Haadiyah, is a local charity that has been running for over a decade. We have been teaching a wide array of social, moral, spiritual and academic classes in the community, primarily on Saturdays.
We have realised there is a huge need in the community to raise standards in education in addition to the moral education in British values we provide, particularly in the areas of English and Maths amongst the youth, within the community.
By raising the attainment levels amongst the youth, it will break down barriers, increase aspirations, this will subsequently lead to a more cohesive community.

At Al Haadiyah, our classes range in age from 5 to Adult. Our education undertakes four main strands
The success of the ummah is connected to the Qur’an. Connecting our community with the Qur’an is at the heart of what Al Haadiyah does. For far too long, muslim communities have been disconnected from the Qur’an. Al Haadiyah has made rediscovering the Qur’an a priority for it’s students.
Allah has provided the criterion by which we must live our lives. Muhammad SAW has provided us with an example and methodology by which we can ensure we are following this criterion as best we can. It is for this reason we accompany our emphasis on the Qur’an with a study of the Prophet SAW.
Muslims are required to be the best for mankind. Islam is a way of life that encompasses every aspect of daily routine. With this in mind, at Al Haadiyah, we educate and empower our students such that they are able to maximise their potential as valuable member of the society based upon Islamic principles.
Allah, the owner and creator of all languages, chose Arabic as the language for his final revelation. There is a wide recognition of today’s muslims being distant from the Qur’an. As part of Al Haadiyah’s objective to rectify this issue, Al Haadiyah aims to give it’s students an insight into how it is that Allah communicates with us.

We now wish to expand our operation by acquiring our own building. Our rent is over £24,000 for 34 Saturdays per academic year. To be able to fulfil our vision to not only help the community now, but to build our future generations, we require our own base of operations. From this we can not only increase the number of classes we offer, but also increase the variety of classes we can provide to be able to assist Muslims from all walks of life, not just those available on a Saturday.
In order for us to maximise the benefit we can provide to our community owning our own premises is the next logical step.
Having continuously being fundraising for the past few years, we still have £300,000 left to raise to be able to acquire our building.
